Job Title: Rolled Ice Cream Barista
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative Rolled Ice Cream Maker to join our team at Icicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, creating, and serving high-quality rolled ice cream to our customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and make rolled ice cream by pouring and spreading the ice cream mixture onto a cold metal plate, rolling it up using a spatula, and placing the rolls in cups or bowls.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of the rolled ice cream by following established recipes and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of ingredients and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of rolled ice cream making techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
